After breakfast departure to Palermo. On arrival, visit the Palatine Chapel in the Norman palace to admire the spendid byzantine mosaics. Other stop include the cathedral, Saint John of the Hermits Monastery and a side trip to the Cathedral at Monreale and the Benedectine Cloister. Lunch break in Mondello, famous for its long sandy beach, with an afternoon visit of the grottoe of Saint Rosalia, Patron of Palermo, located at the top of Mount Pellegrino.
     Return to Palermo with a panoramic tour of the historical center before returning to the hotel.
